She was previously a unit clerk with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Alexandria Hospital and currently works as an administrator with the University of Alberta's Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry.
She has always been an active member of the community and is passionate about volunteering. In the past, she has volunteered at art camps for children with the City Arts Centre, as a cheer coach with the Edmonton Public School Board, and with a variety of other organizations. While at Norquest, she was a student councillor and the school's Academic Governance Council. She is currently a board member with the Alberta Liberals' Edmonton Riverview Constituency Association.
Samantha is running for city council because she believes that the residents of Ward 10 should all have equal access to the resources and amenitites our city has to offer.
